Service and Learning Information for 2026

Justice for All has been collaborating with national and international ministries and churches serving impoverished and under-resourced communities for over 45 years. God is working through local ministries in extraordinary impactful ways, and we have the honor of joining in this mission for one week at a time. Regardless of your skill level, if you are willing to answer this call, God will work through you!

JFA General Guidelines for Service & Learning Trips

  • If you have questions, click on Contact Us or call JFA at 712.476.2804
  • A $100 deposit per household is required for each Justice for All trip, but don’t let that hold you back! Many churches offer grants or scholarships to cover the cost and are eager to help make your participation possible. Take that first step—reach out and ask about available support!
  • Please book 6 Weeks prior to the trip. If planning to fly, JFA can assist with coordinating flights.
General Schedule for Service and Learning Trips
Saturday: Arrival Day

On this day, everyone will get settled in and spend time getting acquainted, going over schedules, etc. A ministry representative will also welcome you and do an orientation.

Sunday: Day of Worship, Exploring, and Fellowship

We will be joining a local congregation for worship during the morning service. You will have an opportunity to experience a worship style different from what you’re used to! This is an enriching experience as we see there are many ways to worship. Your team leader may also plan a tour, a visit to a museum; have a speaker from the ministry or local community, or other experiences for the purpose of learning about and understanding the neighborhood/community where you will be spending the week.

Monday-Thursday: Project, Bible Study, Learning Together

Each day will begin with team devotions. Mornings and afternoons will be spent on the work sites your group will be assigned to.

Friday: Wrap-Up, Farewells

Friday mornings are used to finish up projects, pack up, and clean the volunteer facilities.

*Arrival and departure days may vary pending flights and other travel situations*
