Each week, volunteers arrive with hearts ready to serve. They sort clothes, repair electronics, strip wires, and recycle unusable items.
What can’t be shipped is baled; what can be sent is loaded onto trucks bound for ministries—near and far, even overseas.
Beds, furniture, kitchenware, bedding, and décor are provided through ministry requests—everything that turns a space into a home.
Tens of thousands of books are sorted. Wooden race cars built from recycled wood are sent around the world. Volunteers share jokes, testimonies, prayer requests, food, and stories.
They celebrate birthdays and anniversaries with song and cheers. And they witness God’s provision in real time.
When service flows from the love of God, even the smallest acts help make the world a little brighter.
Volunteers give of themselves—and quietly give financially. Rock Valley and surrounding communities provide diesel, cement, repairs, and food. If JFA is reaching the world, it’s because Northwest Iowa and surrounding communities extend the hand.
